“It definitely has changed & part of that change is hard because I’m inside it, but probably a lot of that is actually from me too. I’ll be 35 years old & I’m a mom và my life is different. Obviously, 10 years have passed and things have happened và I have a much different, more evolved understanding of myself,” Johansson told Collider in an interview.
“As a woman, I’m in a different place in my life. And I felt more forgiving of myself, as a woman, & not sometimes probably not enough. I’m more accepting of myself. All of that is related lớn that move away from the kind of hyper-sexualisation of this character and, I mean, you look back at Iron Man 2 và while it was really fun & had a lot of great moments in it, the character is so sexualised.”

“Is that a rumor?” Johansson responded, sounding genuinely surprised. “You were so nice khổng lồ me on that movie. I was so petrified. You were so nice khổng lồ me! You could’ve been awful. I was so out of my comfort zone on that movie. I’d never done anything lượt thích that before. Plus, you had established such deep friendships.”

“It was fun to lớn be in something that resonated so deeply with people culturally,” Paltrow said. “I had never been in that kind of a blockbuster franchise thing either. It was new for me. But then you went on and did all of those huge films.”
The duo also addressed their MCU futures, and neither appears eager lớn return for more superhero shenanigans.
“I’m done,” Johansson confirmed. “Chapter is over. I did all that I had to do. Also coming back và playing a character again and again, over a decade of time, is such a chất lượng experience.”
Johansson asked Paltrow if she was done playing Pepper Potts, to which she said, “I think so. I mean, I didn’t die so they can always ask me.”
